I even tried to get a hold of that breeder to get any background information she could give me on Phoebe (the mama) but her web site has been cancelled. Go figure!! Her tits are not swollen, red or hot. They are inverted except for one and that is the one the puppy keep sucking. She sucks and doesn't let go, doesn't cry and looks very content, does not try to look for another nipple, which is why I think she may be getting milk. But still not sure. My hubby will be home about 4ish so I can go to the vet perhaps. The belly seems okay, not skinny. No, definitely no other mother dogs to give the puppy food. Well she is not crying, so I take that as a good sign then. Thank you so much. I am so glad my mother found this site for me. She was being a mother and trying to help since she knows nothing about puppy caring either. Thanks a bunch again. |
