I don't know for sure, but it sounds the way hypoclycemic events have been described on this site before. A vet can tell you for sure, but he's still a real small one isn't he? Sometimes the smaller pups have a harder time keeping their sugar levels up from what I've heard. Luca Dean was 3.5 when we got him 3 weeks ago and is up to 4 lbs now, and I've had no trouble, but I feed him about 3x a day and have sometimes put kayro in his water. In your case, I would consider giving nutrical, especially before bedtime, so his sugar doesn't drop during the night. If it passed and he seems okay now, that's a very good sign.
