I was waiting to catch up financially myself. I took my girl in at a little over 7 mths. I get a call the day I took her in for the procedure--she was in heat at that time, but they had performed the procedure anyway. She was fine and healed well, but I felt guilty and also paid 100 bucks more for her being in heat. If I were you I'd use my credit card to pay and do it now instead of later.
