A lot of Insurance companies no longer will offer you coverage if you own certain dogs----pitbulls are inc in this-------because you can go through their homeowners insurance to cover your vet bills etc.....
Personally I could never have such a risky breed due to the fact I wouldn't be able to live with the knowledge that my dog did harm to someone elses pet or child.
I know the breed is not to blame but the breeders who breed for the bad qualities instead of the good and that any animal can be a problem..........that's just me, couldn't take the risk. |
