To some people, what I'm doing may be wrong but I think she deserves another chance. And this is the only chance that I will give her because she put me through a lot and I think I've spent a pretty good amount of money just to help her. |
Kim,
Only you know this person as she is your friend. If you think she is capable of caring for the maltese, then you'll give her the chance. Obviousely 3 dogs was too much for her and the apartment she in. Hopefully with one dog and your help she is now ahead of the game and will be more responsible and set some money aside for her pets medical care and basic needs. I know life is rough for people once in awhile. I know my friends would help me out if I needed dog food and had no money! You are a good friend to do this for her. Maybe she is feeling overwhelmed in her life right now and instead of turning to her babies for comfort, like most of us here do, she turns away from everything to figure it out. Im glad you reminded her how important it is to take care of her pets! Once your semester is over I hope you are able to go back and be her friend still and check on that baby to make sure she is doing right by him. School is HARD! It takes a TON of time and effort and I understand being stressed out with everything in YOUR life right now to not be able to take on 3 extra dogs. You are a good person! I pray that she does not take advantage of your kindness and not help the dog like she should.
Good Luck on your exams!
