I am going to have to check on that with Northwest. I was thinking I would have to pick one of my boys to go with me on my trip to my parents' next month, but it would be great if I could take both for the same price!
As far as the bag goes, I used a soft sided sherpa bag (they come in different sizes - I used the small - under 8 pound one for Bentley) when Bentley went home with us over Christmas last year and it worked fine. As far as I know the Sherpa bags are approved on every major airline.
