Paddington started somethig new over the weekend. He started biting me. In the face. Really hard.
He does it when we're playing, when I'm training him, when I'm laying on the couch... He jumps up at my face and bites me really hard! He's bitten my hand too! He only does this to me, and never anyone else, and he does it whenever my boyfriend is around, or when he doesn't get what he wants (he did it the other day when we were training and he didn't get the treat...)
It is so weird because I was just telling my vet how awesome he has been to train, and what a great friendly dog he is, and now I can't even pet him because he bites me when I try
He's been better today, but we stayed at my parents' house rather than my apartment with my boyfriend. Could it be a dominance issue with my boyfriend? I know that I pay less attention to Paddington when I'm with him (but he still gets LOTS of attention, just not my undivided 100% of the time like he does here at my mom's)
Did anyone else have this biting problem? I'm afraid he will start doing it to other people, including my baby nephew who crawls around on the floor (face within biting range)
