I am originally from the NYC area..and when my boyfriend started his search for Bella that is where he began. I got Bella in March; asking price for reputable breeders is anywhere from 1500 to 2000 in NYC area. 700-900...I fear what you may get in that area. Puppy mills are a huge problem because the new rave is having a "tiny, portable lap dog". And over breeding and guaranteeing size is common there. However keep in mind...NO such thing as a tea cup yorkie...it's just a money making scan. With no offence intended I hope you realize the work that goes into one of these furbabies...my baby girl is my pride and joy. BUT it's like having a child...waking up to take her out, or direct her to the pad..training...quality time...vet bills...ect. I agree with the other members...I think that springing a puppy on her isn't the best idea..even if she has mentioned it in conversation.
