my opinion is that i dont think people are asking these questions to see if there is anything to change it, its probably out of curiosity. I can only speak for myself and I will say when I was looking for my puppy I did not want a big yorkie, nor did i want one with the longer snout...why? because to me i dont find it attractive. I wanted a yorkie no more than 5 pounds, would i love him if he got bigger yes, but is that what i wanted no. I feel you should get what you pay for. I have read alot of the threads and *most* not all, of the people who have bigger yorkies (10 pounds and up) thought their puppy would remain smaller, so even they wanted a small yorkie. ofcourse they love their pet but thats not what they wanted. also when people come on here and ask questions about weight and coat (like I did) its because they are curious. I see nothing wrong with that. as far as the whole child analogy...it needs to stop because the reality of it is that we do not pick and pay for our children but we do pick and pay for our pets. To me, the love i have for my my children is very different than my dog .JMO thats what this site is for, to ask questions and meet fellow yorkie lovers :-) |
