It might be that I've mis-read the posts, but it sort of feels like if you had a "skin" baby and it was born with brown eyes and was on the bigger size you would want some answers and a way to change it -

Firstly, I have never seen anyone on yorkietalk not love their yorkies for who and what they are. Almost all of our yorkies have faults, or things that aren't quite what we expected. However, I have never seen anyone say that they don't love their dog because of these issues.
Secondly, continuing with the human baby analogy, almost all parents DO question the appearance of their child at some point, or wonder why they developed the way they did, and there is nothing wrong with this, just as there is nothing wrong with yorkie owners concerned with their baby's development to look for answers.
As long as the baby in question is loved, as it almost undoubtably is, there is no reason to question the unconditional love most yorkie owners have for their furbabies.
