Very well said. You want what you want, period. Everyone has their own stlye and taste. Some people like dark hair Yorkies, some people like the light look (I personally love the blonde color). If you go out and buy a dog that is supposed to be 5 lbs full grown and dark haired but your dog ends up 10 lbs and light/silver haired, then you didn't get what you wanted. You will still love your dog regardless (because these little ones grow on you so fast that you can't help falling in love with them) but that does not alter the fact that they were not what you originally were looking for, style wise, not personality wise.
To be honest, most people can love ANY dog. We all love our dogs and feel they are special but in reality, if we neve got them in the first place and got another dog, we would never know the difference. Every dog has lots of love to give and most people get dogs because they want that affection and love.
That being said, I just hope everyone who gets a dog (regardless of the size and color) loves them and gives them a wonderful home!! Puppy kisses are the best!
