[Zena's Mom]

I almost lost my girl this weekend. I had house guests which were advised on arrival not to leave anything in her reach and to keep the door to the guest room closed. Medication, 4 pillss, were left on the bed with the door open and of course my girl found it. We rushed her to the vet's and she spent the weekend on an IV to flush the med's out of her system. She is home now and the vet feels there will be no problems in the future. The concern was kidney failure. Please, please please make sure that your guests understand that anything left within reach of a Yorkie will be found. I would not want anyone else to go thru what I just went thru. Needless to say the house guests will not be welcome back.
