You have to be there to watch them 24/7 which I am not or else keep them caged all of the time and that isnt an option as far as I see it either. We had a brand new house with the nicest carpet because we paid a few thousand dollars extra to upgrade it when we bought the house and it is all ruined. I didnt realize I was going to have dogs when I moved in. On top of that the carpet is a light beige. (Well used to be, now it is beige with yellow polka dots) We will eventually rip it all out and start over with tile or something else but I can hear what you are saying about getting upset and needing to vent. There are days when I think I cant take it either especially when they make it a point to come in from being ouside and pee or poop on the floor as soon as you back is turned or run upstairs and do it where you cant see them. It is enough to drive anyone a little crazy at times. It is very hard to train one when there are others going in the house and since half of mine were at least 8 monts old and not potty trained, it is even harder to get them to learn at that age.
wow your carpet kinda sounds like mine...i sure hope my fur-kids don't tear up my carpet...crossing fingers...
