Ya know, I don't think one is better than the other...My male is very loving and cuddly, has to be with me all the time. My female is more independent, but still very loving and cuddly. They're both very playful and sweet. I think you should just go for the particular yorkie that you fall in love with regardless of gender. If you're getting him/her neutered/spayed, then it probably won't make that much of a difference.
