It was about 2/3 the cost and my girls both love it. Within a week Alyssa's energy level had increased tremendously. Her fur was shiny and my girls even fought over their food. Heaven only knows that there is enough Canidae in a bag for them to have all the food they want. I don't know why they would fight over food. My point is...I am totally satisfied with Canidae. I switched the girls cold turnkey to the new food. They have had no problems at all. I do not regret giving up the corn in Royal Canin. I think that is what was causing her allergies. She has stopped scratching and is one healthy yorkie. |
Hi, I'm so glad you like the Canidae too.

I switched mine cold turkey also and had no problems either. I'm so glad you mentioned about the itching. My pekingese hasn't been itching nearly as bad since starting him on this food. Right now is the worse time of the year for him and he's been doing wonderful. He's 12 and I've also noticed his energy level is up. I'm not trying to be gross here but I've also noticed that all three of my babies poo isn't as stinky, LOL! On Nutro it was terrible and they seemed to always be pooping.

Now its way more normal. I only wish I would have started them on this food long ago.
