Default About Denise

To the best of my knowledge, most of the dogs Denise sells she gets from others. That makes her a "Broker" and they are no better than a pet store or Puppymill. Denise is now selling Daschunds as well as Yorkies and I've had negative reports about the health of the Daschunds and Yorkies she's selling.

The stories remain the same: no papers, no receipts, no response when you call and leave a message and no guaranty that protects the buyer, ONLY HER. She accepts no responsibility if the dog is sick or even dies. She blames everything on the new owners.

I'm not sure of the health risks to Daschunds but all Yorkies should be Bile Acid tested for liver disease. Yorkies have a 36% greater chance of a liver shunt than all other breeds combined but even that percentage is changing as other breeds and cross bred "Designer Dogs' are entering the market. A Designer dog may look cute but they are no more or no less than a Mutt . That's not bad but the prices asked for something like a Yorkie-Poo are more "Poo" (that's meant to be a pun" than anything else.

No matter the age of your Yorkie it should have a Bile Acid Test. This test costs about $40-$50 dollars but it's well worth the cost if you value your dog's life and future. Don't let a vet dissuade you, insist that it be done.

If you have any other questions you can contact me directly at satman@yorkies.com.
