5:45am - outside
6am - feed them
7am - outside and then leave for work (dogs in crate)
11am - outside during my lunch break
11:30am - back in crate go back to work
3:30pm - come home, dogs outside
5pm - dinner and go outside
then every hour/hour and a half take them outside till 10pm (bed)
This is a great schedule. I used one almost like it on Buddy and he
was completely trained by 5months.
The only difference I can see is try giving a reward when you take them
out to potty. I would use liverwurst. Never give this to them inside only
outside when they potty only. Just a very tiny piece is needed. See if
they catch on that they get a special treat when the go potty outside.
I can't understand why they are not catching on at this point. I think
your doing a great job however I would also limit their area to the kitchen
even when your home until they get the idea. Reward comes with potty
outside and that also mean freedom inside. These little ones are super
smart. I believe persistance is key. I would never stand for a dog of
any breed going potty indoors at this age.
Good luck. |
