I don't have a yorkie-maltese mix but i do have a yorkie and a maltese. With the yorkie, she is more hyper but she is so much smarter. The maltese is more laid back, he will actually lay in your lap and let you hold him anytime, the yorkie will only lay in your lap and let you hold her when she is ready (and that is not often). The yorkie learns faster and picks up on things faster on everything except house breaking and the maltese does better with that and he is 4 months younger than she is. Even though she learns things faster than he does doesn't mean she will do them, when he does learn something he will do them everytime you ask. He (maltese) barks (very loud) at every noise or move and she hardley ever barks. I love them both to little pieces. Hannah is 8 months old and Bentley is 4 months old. She weighs 4.2lbs and he weighs 5.7 lbs. |
