I know how you guys feel. I had a pair of parakettes( Sky and Snowflake). When i got home one day i came upon a murder scence . aparently my husband forgot to close the bird cage when he left for work and Snowflake got out, he would like to follow him and sit on his shoulder. I saw blood on the floor and Snuggles had that guilty look on her face. I saw a wing on her bed and feathers all over the place. I was a wreck because i loved my birdie and my own baby killed it. I also knew she liked to chew stuff on my side of the bed so i went straight into my room and found other peices of the bird. I couldnt even look at snuggles the rest of the day. I accepted her apology when she came the next day trying to lick my face. |
