AKC in my opinnion is more reliable to all breeds. I do not understand why register the puppies with CKC when the parents are AKC. AKC would accept the puppies. The only reason the owner would do this, In my opinnion, I do not believe both parents are AKC registered.
Beware of cute puppies and if a statement does not make any sense. Use your gut judgement.
In all as a Breeder myself, if someone is purchasing a puppy. The papers should be with the puppy at time of purchase. I make it my responsiblity to have Vet records, shot records and AKC Registration in a package when my puppies are ready to be placed.
