Roxy had (or still has) a staph infection too! (Mild - the Vet said)
She had to do 10 days of antibiotics and 10 days of an anithistamine.
She still is breaking out a little bit, so I am not sure that the antibs did the trick. I have been washing her in a Tea Tree Shampoo, and I use a tiny bit of Tea Tree Oil on a q-tip and dab it on the small pimple. It is a natural anitseptic. It does seem to dry it up before it can create a 'blister' type of head.
The Vet said it will probably come and go (allergies). I don't want to keep putting her on antibs. so I will try to keep her cleaned up all the time. |
