I only feed dry food so I didn't really think that Lex would need the brushing but when he was ready for his neuter we saw they were a bit gunked up. So after the cleaning I started brushing his teeth every sunday when he gets his bath. I am now working on getting Lulu into it but she hates baths much less the teeth brushing. If you can get them used to it then it's great because you won't have to worry so much about getting their teeth cleaned and their breath will smell nice.
