Oooh, I hate that but yes, people ask. I refused to tell last time. I don't want people judging because it's MY money. The last puppy was $3,000(sadly, it didn't work out) but since I don't take vacations I feel any amount is justified. My sister spent more than that for a few days in Hawaii. My previous dogs have lived 12 - 15 years(and my chihuahua is already almost 9 years old). So, price per year is a bargain if you look at it that way

But it does bug me because I don't ask people how much they pay for stuff, I just wasn't brought up that way.
