Villette,

You totally do not need to lose any weight, but if you're looking for tips to keep from being hungry all the time, here's mine.

I make a big pot of lowfat vegetable-based soup. They fill you up because there's lots of water, and the veggies are good for you and lots of fiber (if you know what I mean )

Here's the latest one I made last week. So good.

Vegetable-Tortellini soup

1 ts olive oil
2 carrots, peeled and diced
2 celery ribs, sliced
1/2 large onion, chopped
1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup sliced green beans (I took about a dozen or so fresh green beans and cut them into quarter inch pieces)
1/3 cup frozen corn kernals
1/3 cup frozen peas
1 can diced tomatoes
2 cans chicken broth
1/4 ts dried oregano
1/2 ts dried basil
dash allspice
salt n pepper to taste
1 quart water
1 cup Barilla dried cheese tortellini
1/2 zucchini, diced

In a large pot, heat olive oil, and add carrots through garlic. Saute 2 minutes. Add all remaining ingredients EXCEPT tortellini and zucchini. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes. Raise heat; add tortellini and set timer for 11 minutes. When there are 4 minutes left, add the zucchini and continue cooking.

Makes 8 servings with 10 tortellini in each serving for about 1 point (weight watchers).

Serving suggestion: I like to sprinkle a smidge of parmesan cheese on it. Yummy!
