I ditto just about everything already said!
Ice cold water w/ a lemon slice
-I found that if I fill up a 2 quart picture of ice cold water, carry it to my computer and constantly refill my glass (luckily the upstairs office is next to the bathroom), I can drink that before lunch......then, I fill it up again, and try for another 2 quarts after lunch.
-My water has to be ice cold or else, I just can't stand to drink it.
-also try the crystal light drink mixes...they have some good flavors and they are better for you then cokes, etc. PLUS, it gives you a change from just boring water.
Cut up fresh veggies/fruits (keep them handy)
-I know if mine aren't handy (cut up, etc), I find I don't eat them as much
-Also, frozen fruits and veggies and even the canned ones are just as good for you (I have researched that) - just rinse any salt from canned veggies or look for no salt added.
The frozen cherries are yummy and the blueberries/strawberries/etc can be easily added to oatmeal, smoothies, cereal, etc.
Small meals - I have tried this and I think it may work....I just didn't stick w/ it. I would eat a small breakfast, do a small (healthy) snack, eat lunch, snack, dinner, etc....whew, it seemed like I was eating my day away! hee,hee BUT this is what everyone says to do.
I walk....even to start, maybe 10 minutes a day...work your way up. Walking does WONDERS!!!! (((speaking of which, I need to get back in that everyday habit again)))
**I read somewhere that if you mixed a little bit of honey (can't remember how much) in a glass of water and drank it before you walked or exercise, that gives your metabolism a bust. I believe it said it was good to drank another afterwords so you don't feel that sluggish, tired feeling from your workout. - I haven't tried it yet**
I haven't tried Relacor, but I am glad it was mentioned because I need something for that little extra push and support.
I know how it feels to NOT be able to lose the weight. It SUCKS!!!!
