maggies were completely floppy but i taped them for a couple of days and they are up now. i didn't think it was possible! but they are up! they did flop during teething but went back up. do a search on here for "ears" and you will find some great methods for taping...if you want them to stand. it is painless and the dogs don't seem to mind it at all. it is "standard" for them to stand but if you aren't worried about it, then it is up to you. don't let other people judge your dog...do what you want
i personally liked it when maggies were half up and half down. one of her ears will sometimes sag a little and i think it is so cute. but again...it is your preference.
