As of this moment, Keisha is still acting weird with her heiny. As one of the groomers here mentioned, maybe her tail is really tickling her but why should she be crying so pathetically when she sits? A tickle is one thing; pain is another and she seems to uncomfortable. If only they could talk! We're still watching her hourly and praying that she improves at some point.[/QUOTE]

I use to raise Shih Tzu , so I know just how sensitive they are. And I have shaved many of them especially after they have finished their Championship titles , but mine have never been matted. When I first take their hair off the tail really tickles them because they are not used to feeling all the long hair on their backs and their legs and it will cause them to walk and move funny sometimes. I do not know about the crying, is the hair cut to close around her butt? So why can't you figure out what is causing her to act this way, does her tail still wag? Can she lift her tail when she moves? Do you think she has internal injuries? I am still a bit confused about how she is acting. I wish I could see her , do you have any pictures of her trim , I am sure you took some just in case you need them for any action you may want to take later , if this really turns out to be the fault of the groomer. The only thing I can think of at this time is the tickle and maybe being trimmed or even nicked by the anus , but you have not said that she was cut. Even if she was cut she should be feeling better soon as dogs that have c-sections are even up and going in about two days. Did they do any kind of a flea treatment on her?????She could have ingested some of it...
