I've had the same experience as you when people say, wow...those are really expensive dogs. Don't they cost like $300? And I'm thinking...ummm, yeah, and a LITTLE more...lol.
I also think it's rude that people ask how much a dog costs. I'd never ask someone that, and it's my business so I don't really care if I want to spend thousands on a dog...it's not their money!
