Max also sleeps when I'm gone. I keep him gated in the bathroom with his bed, water, a couple of treats and the radio on. I came home a couple of weeks ago and he had managed to push the gate so that he could get out. He was sitting by the bathroom and literally jumped into my arms when he saw me. I think he was frightened all alone in our big house. I would try to keep your baby more confined. It seems to help them feel secure, and it's safer too. They're so little. I worry about him falling or getting stuck somewhere, biting a wire, who knows what? |
