Zada had her first flight at 14 weeks old, then at 16 weeks we drove up to San Francisco which is a 5 & 1/2 hr. drive. She loved looking out the windows at everything and it was her first lesson in the words cow and horse.

She loved the motel and fishermans wharf. The seals drove her nuts. She wanted to go down there and play with them.

It was a very wonderful day for her but she was so worn out. The next morning she couldn't wait to go see more things. It was so cute. I think traveling is the best way to break them in socially. We took her everywhere and of course people just love petting a little dog, and she loves the attention.
Just ask your Vet. what you should do or not do and what to have on hand. Your going to LOVE Disney World, but they don't allow dogs. They do have a kennel there and a 24-7 Vet. Tell your Vet. about this and see if he doesn't recommend kennel cough meds before you leave.
When you drive that far, just make sure you stop for a few minutes every 2 hours and take Bear for a long walk, and a drink. He will sleep better and enjoy traveling if it's made fun for him.

Go and enjoy! We all want to see tons of pictures when you get back.
