I think its a great idea to take a 13 week old puppy on vacation. So many opportunities for socialization! Just avoid "dog parks" and other dog areas, use pee pads in the room and on the road. Make sure all shots are up to date. When introducing to other dogs, just ask the owner of the dog is up to date on vaccines before you let them get too close. I did not shelter Gracie before she was 16 weeks, and I have a very friendly dog to show for it.
