I was at the drive-in with Diesel and a teenager came up and rubbed Diesel and said "awww he is so cute. We are getting one only it is a tea-cup." I spoke right up and said "Just so you know there is no such thing as a tea-cup Yorkie. They are only breeding Yorkies that are on the small side and hoping for the best." Then I went on to tell her that she had better be careful getting one so small because the smaller they are the better the chance is of the dog getting sick. She looked at me with her mouth wide open and is she couldn't believe what I was saying. I told her that Diesel was only 4.5 -5 pounds and that going smaller means that they will be even more fragile.
No offense to those who have smaller babies. I know that their are some very healthy little ones out there.
