Hide a squirrel, never-ending treat ball, bully sticks, an old shoe or slipper to chew on! If you can afford it, consider doggy day care a few days a month. There is one near where I live that is only for toy breeds.

Interestingly, I found that when I am not here, Gracie sleeps all day long. She did that from the time I brought her home at 8 weeks.
