Yup! You're exactly right. Also, if the tongue is always hanging out then that could be a sign as well. Obviously, a dog could have one of these physical signs and be perfectly healthy but combine that with the hypoglycemia like symptoms, and the small size and hydrocephalus really seems like a possibility. Have you asked your vet if Porsche has an open fontanel? If he doesn't and he hasn't had any kind of head trauma, then I wouldn't worry about hydrocephalus. I do think that there is something more than hypoglycemia going on. Ask for a bile acid test. It will test for liver problems and is inexpensive. Liver disease can cause a build up of toxins in the system and produce these same symptoms.
