My little girl Jeanie is a funny little girl when it comes to going potty.
She will only go in her outside pen
She won't go on a walk, ever.
We went away for a weekend, and she didn't go #2 the whole time. She waited to come home to go in her pen. She wouldn't do #1 either on a walk, she waited to be in the house of my parents, and do it on the floor when the other dog got her excited.....and then on the bed!!!!
I couldn't believe it, she has never done that.
Anyway, it makes travel with her a little bit annoying, since you can't make pit stops and think she will tinkle. She just doesn't.
At home, she is great, no mistakes for a long time, always goes in the pen. As soon as I put her in that pen, she pees, every time............
Anyone else have a similar frustration? Any ideas how to correct this? I have tried bringing pee pads and putting them down in the yard where I am, that doesn't work. Oh yes, because she doesn't go if you are there, you have to walk away. Thus the reason we need the penned enclosure. So short of bringing that portable pen with us EVERYWHERE, I'm sort of at a loss. Or never take her away from home..........
