Default shops

I know her quite well. I do not pass any judgements, just passing on what she tells me. The shop was bought for grooming and pet supplies, but she also takes pups to sell for local and out of area breeders. She will do what she can to insure a good home, but her hands are tied. She can advise a person that a certain breed may not work for them, but if they insist she sells to them. She does not like the fact she can not refuse people who are buying a tiny toy for a 1 yr old, so they can grow up together.

I asked her how it worked out with her Yorkies..she said she does not even bring her pups to the place..a person can express and interest in buying a poodle or Yorkie and she can contact them after hours, but not do business in the shop itself, then she has no say.

Yep..the commerical breeders were crying about the broker prices...one said they sold Cockers for $35 each and were so relieved to have them all gone. Every commerical breeder and miller (the commerical breeder does not want to be referred to as a MILLER) is jumping on the popularity of the Yorkie and it was killing the market price...time would take care of it..the "bandwaggoners" would give up when the market was flooded with Yorkies.

Shoes, DVD's cars or houses, it is a business and it will level off in time...the large commerical breeder can wait it out, the small ones go under.
