Wow, this is an interesting thread. Is this more common to very young dogs and very small dogs, or can any little Yorkie of any age have this? On two separate occasions, our little girl (5 years and 7 lbs.) seemed to loose control of her muscles and list to one side and act strangely. She also did spit up a small amount on the first occasion. She also seemed to be trembling. The first time, we took her to the emergency vet, but by the time we got there, she was fine. They thought that she may have had a seizure. She had another episode recently, (it has been about a year since the first) but we just picked her up and watched her, and she was fine. Could this have been hypoglycemia? She is a very picky eater and sometimes refuses food.
