I use Aveda Be Curly and sometimes I add some liquid gel in with it to keep it tame. If it's humid then it's a hopeless cause and turns into a giant pouf ball. One of the best things you can do is get a really good conditioner. Curly hair tends to dry out. And do a deep conditioner every couple of weeks. It will definitely help the curl stay nice and frizz free. And if you're going swimming leave a regular conditioner in your hair, that way the damage from the sun, chlorine or salt, will be less.
