Thanks for the suggestions. She does know 'stay" and it does work for the broom and mop (nothing works for the vacuum although stay is starting to). I used to use stay all the time but have since decided not to because I feel like if I am telling her to stay when she is being sassy over the mop... it is a punishment. I don't want stay to be a punishment in cause I really need to use it if she gets in the street... If the whistle doesn't work I will probably end up going back to it though.
