Hello everyone. I am new to YorkieTalk and desperately need your help! I have had Monkey, a 17 month old male (not neutered), since he was 4 months old. He was very smart and seemed to learn to go potty on paper or outside very easily and he went everywhere with me. He was doing very good...until I got Maddie. She was 12 weeks old. Since then, Monkey has just thrown any training he has ever had out the window. He lifts his leg on everything and poops wherever. This has made it impossible to properly train Maddie (now 5 months old). She does whatever he does. I NEVER SEE THEM DO IT!!! They know they're doing something wrong! My apartment has turned into a doggy-potty-haven!!! I'm even taking out the carpets and putting hardwood floors this weekend. I'm hoping to start over from here. Any advice on training older dogs? I feel I have done such a horrible job
. The worst part is that I can't take them anywhere and Maddie is not getting the socialization that Monkey did. They are so sweet and loving and I just want us all to be happy.
