 Cottony vs. Silky coat
Congrats to all those who own Yorkies with a silky coat. That's what I wanted, but that's not what I got. I also wanted a really small Yorkie. Smaller than Puddin who is about 8 pounds. I got one that will probably max out to 15 - Muffin. I wouldn't trade her for the world (she is such a sweetheart), but the breeder, who I believed was reputable, was not truthful with me and I believe, just wanted to pass her along to whoever would pay $1000 for her. That would be me - the patsy. Sorry, I didn't start out to whine. I dearly love both my babies, but when I was a young woman raising Irish Setters I sure never sold them for $1000 each, and I NEVER promised they'd be anything more than pet quality. Anybody else out there with similiar experiences???? |
