I agree with everyone else. Animal control can't tell you to get rid of "your dad's dog", nor can they tell you you aren't allowed to babysit "your dad's dog", so I don't see it being a problem
. Just stick to your story. If you want to make it even better, tell the vet your dad's taking her, and change the vet records to reflect his name and address. Then, no one will be the wiser.
