layla had to be forced in the first time... it was at home.. i put her in and just kept feeding her treats... and walking around.. now she goes in no problem.. she gets her treat... has a nap in there.. and then gets another one when she is out.. sometimes she demands a treat mid-trip by sticking her nose out the top so i just sneak her one and she quiets back down. i've never had her bark or cry in there in public.. i think i just got lucky!
