Prior to getting Horatio I had two girls...one Yorkie and one Poodle/Peke mix. When I had to have the Poodle/Peke mix put down my Uncle got another one...a boy though. Even though I loved the two I now had I was not happy with how the boy would mark. And there was the rubbing the belly thing too. So, when my then girl Yorkie and male mix were gone and I decided I needed another baby...I knew I wanted another Yorkie and my first choice was a girl. However, there was only the one boy available to me and I didn't want to wait any longer so I took a chance on him and I've never regretted it. I've gotten over the marking issue and belly hazard.
