At first I wanted a female, because I wanted a "girlie girl" dog, but I wouldn't give my male up for anything! Yorkieluv is right, pick the dog that you fall in love with!
Also, I don't think yorkie males tend to lift their leg, because they are so low to the ground they don't really need to.
