I let Tia get busy with a bully stick while she's lying on my sofa. Once she's relaxed and REALLY focused on her chewing I'll start trimming. There are some times when I can only get 1 or 2 paws done at one sitting. She loves chewing on that thing so much that nothing really fazes her at those times
