MUCH easier
I don't have to brush Cookie every day. In fact I have brushed him once a week and still he has no knots. My Maltese is a different story! She gets knots in 24 hrs.
Have you seen both parents? Maybe you can take pictures of the mom and dad. I understand what you mean about it looking thin. It also looks thin to me even if it's around 8-9 weeks old I usually see them with more fluffed hair.
