Update:
Ok well he is getting better and so the vet decided to go up his nose and look around. Yet one more time he puts him under. He says he doesn't see blockage in his nose. Then he tells her that he may need to have another procedure done out of town. But wait... He is getting better....
Then I take everyones advice here and start asking questions. Did he check for this or that. She says I trust my vet blah blah blah. I just said ok and left it. Charlie did not come from the best parentage and I often wonder if he has some underlying problem. I know I here from so many on here that so many vets aren't familiar with our little ones. So if you had to guess at what might be wrong what would be your guess. Here is some info...
About 3 weeks ago he his 22nd surgery for another blockage. He had eaten a bunch of stuff that he shouldn't have and couldn't pass it. Then about a week or so later he looses his appetite and starts sneezing and coughing really bad. They say he has pneumonia.. They take xrays and things aren't quite that bad. He has bronchitis instead.They put him on antibiotics, benadryl, and IV fluids. Two days later they send him home but he doesn't get better and she takes him to the ER. They did more x-rays and say the same thing. THey keep him overnight for more fluids and she comes to get him and take him to the reg vet. They do the same thing. More IVfluids MORE x-rays and then they go up his nose. However going into the vet was just for more IV Fluids just in case. She brings him home and he dives into the food and starts playing like nothing ever happened.
Does this sound like bronchitis or something else or maybe just a cold? I just think this vet milks her for all it is worth. She has been going to him for years and this is always how things go with every dog she has had. I know I would do all that I can for Diesel if he had been him. I just don't think having xrays 4 times in 5 days when he is getting better makes sense. Maybe it is just me who knows. Thanks for letting me vent
