You could try PartyLite It's probably the best of all the in-home party programs when it comes to what you get and/or what it costs you to do business.
Before I got my current job, I had some really bad $$$ times and it was a great supplement to my income for a couple years. I know they've changed their products quite a bit in recent years, but the candles always sell. I was able to get a relatively decent car after just a few months.
You can pretty much make your own schedule, decide your own territory, and in some cases, people just have "book" parties so all you do is place an order. Also, you can work with schools or groups (I did it with two animal shelters) as a fundraiser. (I also gave them half my commission, too, but even at that, it was a win-win situation.)
