It sounds like Liver Shunt is a possibility. To test for a liver shunt you need to have a bile acid test done. It really isn't that expensive and is well worth it. I just had one done on Lily the other day and I think it was $45. I would have one done just to be on the safe side.

It could have also been a seizure. Check with your vet and see what he/she thinks.
